Dayton T. Brown, Inc. (DTB) is the largest independent testing laboratory in the U.S. and has been in continuous operation for over 70 years. Testing on-demand! No matter how difficult the problem, the team at DTB is second to none! DTB's 32-acre campus is home to an accredited testing laboratory with diverse testing capabilities, such as Environmental, Dynamic, Electrical, Structural, etc., as well as manufacturing and research facilities.
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager with proven experience and a passion for selling Testing Solutions, to join our team and contribute to our growth. You will play a critical and active role in the day-to-day sales activities and operations. You must have an entrepreneurial spirit, be a self-starter, and be comfortable working in a structured sales process environment. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise and join our Sales team!
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with our technical teams to develop new go to market sales strategies for existing and new customers.
- Plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
- Own the process from lead generation all the way to receiving a purchaser order.
- Work closely and collaboratively to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies and plans.
- Provide complete and appropriate solutions to boost revenue growth.
- Present, promote, and sell services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Working with our Director of Sales, you'll develop strategies for continued growth.
Here's what we are looking for:
- 4-year degree with a minimum of 10 years in a sales environment.
- BSME or BSEE preferred.
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts.
- Experience selling testing capabilities in aerospace and other complex markets.
- Solid technical background
- Ability to work closely with engineering and support team to win programs.
- Solid understanding of relevant technology in commercial markets and Department of Defense.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- An impressive network of potential customers.
- Target driven and experience in networking with and influencing decision makers.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- US Citizenship.
