Job Description:
As an Experienced Mattress Store Salesman, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to the growth of our store. You will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing expert recommendations on our current product lines. Your successful track record in business development will play a crucial role in achieving our sales targets and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers, understanding their sleep needs, and providing tailored recommendations from our product lines, including Sealy, Serta, Beautyrest, and Stearns & Foster.
- Sales Excellence: Utilize your extensive experience to drive sales and meet or exceed sales goals. Demonstrate expertise in presenting, demonstrating, and closing sales on a variety of mattress products.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current product lines and industry trends. Provide accurate information to customers about product features, benefits, and comparisons.
- Business Development: Apply your experience in successfully developing and growing a business to identify opportunities for increasing store traffic, sales, and overall performance. Implement strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills. Clearly and effectively convey product information, promotions, and policies to customers and team members.
- Initiative and Learning: Show initiative by staying current with industry developments, store procedures, and product knowledge. Quickly adapt to new products, technologies, and sales strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve store goals, share insights, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 20 years of experience in mattress sales, including at least 5 years of running your own business or a similar leadership role. Proven track record of business development and sales success.
- Product Expertise: In-depth knowledge of current product lines from Sealy, Serta, Beautyrest, and Stearns & Foster.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence customers.
- Learning Ability: Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts, products, and technologies swiftly.
- Initiative: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive results independently.
