About the Job
- Senior Salesforce Engineer will perform hands-on technical Salesforce architecture and development that adhere to platform best practices and perform peer code reviews; Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components), integrations with back-office systems (often using middle-ware tools including REST APIs and web services), and complex data migrations
- Deliver high-quality functional solutions assist with quality testing, including creating test scripts and technical/training artifacts
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand organizational goals and translate these into specific Salesforce initiatives; Work with members of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions
- Ensure quality support for system issues by working with users to assist with replication and perform debugging activities, including collaboration with 3rd party vendors and Salesforce Support, as needed
- As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will work with the IS team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
- Create documentation around all Salesforce structure, process, and use, and assist with training for all teams to drive adoption of best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IS or a closely related field and 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Experience with Salesforce platform programming, including Apex, Visualforce, XML, Lightning Design System and Component framework, with a thorough understanding of Salesforce development standards and best practices
- Experience with interpreting business requirements and providing innovative and efficient technical solutions
- Advanced technical knowledge of Salesforce Administration, and extensive experience with declarative development tools including Flow Builder, page layouts, Lightning record pages, validation rules, and assignment rules
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships and convey details with technical and non-technical audiences
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
