We are looking for a Senior Network Pre-Sales Systems Engineer in the Atlanta, GA area to overcome and remove all technical barriers in the sales process. You will work with a regional account manager to develop new business while interfacing directly with customers and partners. The SE role will require you to act as a trusted technical advisor who can effectively position the Edge Connect Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) and SSE solutions. This position will be located in Georgia and travel will be 15+%. You will report to the Enterprise Southeast Regional SE Manager.

How You'll Make Your Mark:
- You will sell to and persuade technical personnel at medium and large enterprises on the value of SASE and Aruba Networking
- You'll deliver pre-sales presentations and demonstrations to customers and partners
- You will support sales efforts through on-site meetings, group presentations and marketing activities
- You will manage and own all technical aspects of the sales cycle
- You will architect, install and configure the EdgeConnect virtual and hardware appliances into customer environments for proof-of-concept and production deployments
- You'll own the technical relationship with customers, partners and resellers through technical training, problem escalation and new feature requests
- You'll maintain a strong market awareness and knowledge of competitive technologies to best position Aruba.
- You will provide prompt feedback to and be ready to aid product management and engineering on future direction of the product
- You will travel to trade shows, marketing events and Aruba headquarters
- You'll participate in discussion with marketing and engineering teams on new product introductions and provide feedback
About You:
- A BSCS degree and or 4+ years of experience as a pre-sales Systems/Sales Engineer
- Technical certifications are a plus (e.g. VCP, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, JNCP)
- You have the ability to demonstrate a knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
- Secure Services Edge
- On-Prem and Cloud Based Firewalls
- Experience working with VLANs and IP subnetting
- Experience using routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Knowledge and experience creating access control lists (ACLs) on routers and switches
- Recent experience using the CLI on major router and switch vendors
- Ability to present to an audience of mixed roles and technical abilities within an organization
- Troubleshooting skills that include hands-on experience with the configuration of networking gear
- Working knowledge of the installation and configuration of virtual machines on major hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Competent troubleshooting skills on the installation and configuration of hypervisors and operating systems
- BSCS or equivalent degree and 6+ years of experience as a pre-sales Systems/Sales Engineer
- Technical certifications are a plus (VCP, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCP)
- Python and DevOps skills are also a plus
