Responsibilities
Program Surface Mount Technology ("SMT") manufacturing equipment including laser marking, screen printing, solder paste inspection, SMT placement, automated optical inspection, and automated X-ray inspection.
Lead improvements to operations through manufacturing engineering analysis based on capacity, cost reduction, and/or safety.
Demonstrate cross-functional project management skills
Responsible for new equipment introduction including procurement, coordination of installation, process capability prove-out, training, process documentation, and production start-up
Lead and manage plant’s technological drive of electronic processes, provide leadership, develop other Manufacturing Engineers, Process Technicians, and Electronic Technicians.
Qualifications
Four-year degree with 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
Non-degree applicants may be considered with relevant experience of 15+ years
Extensive project management experience required
Must demonstrate good communication, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills
Computer and organizational skills required
Knowledge of J-STD-001 Standard required
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 preferred
