If you’re looking for a place that helps you do the best work of your career, look no further than BILL.Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech CompanyResilient and innovative, the Payments Platform Team functions as the backbone and revenue driver for Bill, playing a mission-critical role in moving over $140B+ annually across various payment methods like ACH, Checks, RPPS, and white labelled ACH solutions for our partners. The team is responsible for the core movement of money enabling multiple payment methods to fund and disburse money using Bill's payments platform.We’d love to chat if you have:Minimum 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience will be consideredExpert level programming knowledge in Java, including writing testable codeClear understanding of SDLC and ability to write efficient unit test cases and automation test scripts to abide by Full Cycle EngineeringExperience working with and possessing knowledge of merge methodologies using version control systems like GitLab, BitBucket etcExperienced in database technologies : Oracle, RDS, DynamoDB, MySQLExperience in SOAP/REST communication, Usage of test harnesses, giving technical direction to fellow engineers and ability to write extensive architecture and design documentsExcellent troubleshooting and issue resolution skills. Quickly isolates/debugs issues even in areas outside of one's own domain.Knowledge of distributed system design, algorithms, logging framework, scaling and UML principlesExperienced working on large scale, complex applications and building monitoring and alerting using real time toolsExperience in designing and building scalable cloud-native applications that are deployed in one or more public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)Advocate for and drive engineering best practices and technology modernizationInstrument models and monitor them in production to detect drift, bias, and performance degradationExperience in the payments industry or building payment applications and knowledge of ACH, Checks, RPPS, Partner Integrations, white labeling and Microservices.Test Automation framework experience with Cypress.io, TestRail, Selenium, JenkinsExperience shaping the long term technical direction of large organizations and major projects.Experience delivering complex technical initiatives critical for the organization.Fluency in navigating technically ambiguous situations.#LIThe estimated salary  range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role.  Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
