The Job Details are as follows:
The Senior Software Engineer will perform analysis and design of software programs and systems and create, analyze, design, modify and test programs and systems.The role:
You will be based in our Dublin, Ohio office as a Senior Software Engineer in one of our WorldShare Management Services development teams, contributing to the delivery of key strategic projects as part of the development of our WorldShare platform. Working with other developers, testers, UI/UX designers and architects, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across a global technology division of more than 300 employees.

Who we are looking for:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science related discipline
- 5+ years professional software development experience, including implementation of multiple major areas of functionality and leading sub-projects
- Web application development experience using Java, JavaScript and SQL
- Experience of supporting and mentoring junior engineers
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Interest in and ability to learn coding languages, tools and methods as required
- Willingness to participate in a team with a strong learning culture
Desirable:
- Experience of modern web application libraries and frameworks (e.g. React, Spring Framework)
- Knowledge or interest in the principles of library science, information science, or information retrieval
