The Basics:As a Tanium Senior Software Engineer focused on Endpoint development, you will build and maintain best-of-breed services that power products as part of a nimble development team

When new product ideas are identified, our software engineers design, develop, test, and deploy the products and supporting services from the ground up, while iterating with product management and customers for feedback and input.What you’ll do:Build and maintain Tanium's endpoint services alongside an agile development teamIn partnership with our frontend and backend teams you will design, develop, and test new product ideas from the ground up while working with product management for feedback and inputWe’re looking for someone with:EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceCS Degree preferredExperience3+ years industry experience, 5+ preferredExperience designing and building high-impact, high-performance, scalable, observable, and maintainable backend services and APIsAdvanced knowledge of C, C++ ("Systems" Languages)Experience developing for Windows, Linux, and MacExperience with metrics driven development (Prometheus)Experience building data processing pipelines for real time dataExperience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like git and CI/CD pipelinesOtherDemonstrates sound judgment for balancing between rapid development, long-term code maintainability and supportabilityBelieves in the power of and the need for writing automated tests as part of developmentExperienced debugger who can put out fires under pressure when things go wrong in production environmentsHas knowledge of a variety of modern backend software frameworks and the versatility to learn new toolsAbout Tanium Tanium, the industry’s only provider of converged endpoint management (XEM), leads the paradigm shift in legacy approaches to managing complex security and technology environments

What you’ll getThe annual base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 to $350,000
This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire
