Most of our applications are written in a NodeJS/Typescript/React stack, but we are able to cover many languages and frameworks with our breadth of experience
In this role, you will focus on our Near-Real-Time reporting and visualizations platform
The work is fun and challenging, and we are often asked to break new ground in terms of user experience and application functionality.Join our small-but-mighty team in DE&E Technology and be a part of the magic!What You'll DoFull-stack application development using Node and React Typescript stackCreation, maintenance, and support of a Near-Real-Time reporting and visualization platform from API-layer outward in a high data volume environmentCollaborate on architectural designs and help plan for maintainability, observability, and future development concernsEnsure high operational efficiency and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support commitment to our customersBe an active participant and advocate of agile/scrum practice to ensure health and process improvements for your teamReview teammate’s code and pull requests for overall quality, standards alignment, and test coverageBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience with full-stack application development including NodeJS and React in JavaScript / Typescript5+ years of experience with high-test coverage delivery using unit- and front-end-test frameworks3+ years of experience implementing visualization libraries (D3, for example)Experience with application builds in an infrastructure-as-code system (Terraform, Kubernetes, Cloud Formation, etc.)Experience with development in a CI/CD/CT environment using Jenkins or equivalentExperience with performance tuning for large-data-set front-end / visualizationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with large-scale data libraries such as DruidExperience with Kafka, Amazon SQS, or KinesisExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and continuous integration/delivery systemsRequired EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or comparable field of study.Additional Information#DISNEYTECHThe hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, California is $136,100 to $182,400 per year, in Bristol, Connecticut is $136,100 to $182,400 per year, in Seattle, Washington is $142,600 to $191,100 per year

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
