Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with deep experience in Okta or Auth0 to join our team. This is a remote opportunity working with an enterprise client in Seattle, WA. As a full-stack engineer, you will build custom, high-scale, n-tier applications utilizing modern technologies in a collaborative, dynamic environment. You will take ownership of the software development lifecycle while contributing to secure, high-quality solutions and enhancing identity management protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain n-tier applications leveraging a broad tech stack, including C#, .NET, GraphQL, React, Svelte, or Angular, and more.
- Work on both front-end and back-end, implementing complex user interfaces and scalable backend services.
- Integrate and manage identity management solutions, with a focus on Okta, Auth0, or other IDP (Identity Provider) tools.
- Utilize MongoDB, SQL, and Redis for data storage and management.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, and Terraform (nice to have).
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, writing unit, integration, and automation tests.
- Collaborate in a DevOps environment, promoting continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, pairing with other engineers and contributing to code reviews.
- Participate in architecture discussions, drive new ideas, and advocate for best practices in engineering and security.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering with a strong understanding of C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Expertise in Okta, Auth0, or similar Identity Provider (IDP) tools.
- Proven experience with front-end frameworks like React, Svelte, or Angular.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, SQL, and Redis.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Terraform and automation tools (nice to have).
- Proficient with testing frameworks and TDD methodologies, as well as pair programming and code reviews.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas and lead discussions in technical communities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines.
