About the Job
NVIDIA Product Security Team is seeking a passionate and innovative Software Development Engineer willing to join hands with the Security Engineering teams to engage directly with Platform Development teams to operationalize common security solutions in their disparate environments
We build several security platforms and integrate third party solutions to catalog NVIDIA programs, detect vulnerabilities, drive remediation response, securely deploy into our cloud environments, and innovate to meet the scale and demand of all of NVIDIA’s product teams

This is a great opportunity to have a broad company impact, grow connections across the entire company and deliver high insight to leadership.What you will be doing:You will be responsible for proving best practice standards and implementation assistance to ensure a secure program design, development and release.Develop and deliver sophisticated software applications and platforms that enable NVIDIA to release securely and attest details about the release in the form of a bill of materials.Directly engage product teams and partner with security teams to determine opportunities to improve our security posture
Build tooling, drive process improvements, and work with program owners to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.Work within various Release Pipeline teams to automate security scanning to assess release readiness for different NVIDIA platforms.Supporting incoming technical support requests within SLA, including high-severity urgent casesFoster creative and collaborative atmosphere which will help your team members achieve outstanding resultsWhat we need to see:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, SecDevOps or equivalent experience.5+ years working in a software development engineering5+ years of confirmed software design or development operations capabilities in build or standup of end to end applications, infrastructure, and automation frameworks at large scale.Knowledgeable in implementing object-oriented languages in distributed environments, including Python and GolangFamiliarity working with RESTful APIsExperience designing reports from scalable databases or datastores (MySQL, noSQL db or equivalent SQL technology)Familiarity with deploying to cloud technologies and infrastructureProficiency in working with scalable, high-availability, and low-latency systems (Kubernetes and Docker)Understanding of professional software engineering practices & standard methodologies for the software development process, including documentation and task management, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, operations, and generation of critical metrics.Experience working in an Agile SDLCWays to stand out from the crowd:Understanding of Dependency ManagersExperience in integration of solutions in build pipelinesKnowledge of vulnerability reporting through CVEBackground with modern front-end frameworks Angular or ReactExperience with GitHub/Artifactory#LI-HybridThe base salary range is 132,000 USD - 258,750 USD
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits
