Responsibilities
We are looking for a dedicated and well-experienced Solution Architect to join our IT Team. This role is an opportunity for highly motivated individuals to apply advanced analytical skills and experience in the concepts of Dynamics 365 Finance and operations to provide robust design solutions across the enterprise. The Solution Architect must possess deep knowledge of multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Solution areas, specifically in the areas of supply chain, procurement, manufacturing operations and finance. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from straightforward to challenging, to work with cross-functional teams across our organization, and make a significant impact on our business.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for architecting, designing and managing the D365 F&O solution for the enterprise.
- Responsible for overseeing design and implementation of various business requirements, as well as supporting efforts of specialists in other technical and business workstreams.
- Responsible for identifying and creatively solving complex problems, envisioning and enabling critical business processes, and fundamentally helping the users to achieve their objectives.
- Responsible for delivering strategic solution-focused presentations to audiences of all sizes and possess excellent communication skills.
- Effective in fostering working relationships across the businesses and become their trusted advisor with first point of escalation for any solution issues.
- Comply with and contribute to the continuous improvement of company policies, processes and procedures.
- Contributes to a collaborative, team-oriented workplace, which may include other duties as assigned.

- Manage project resources as needed.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated work experience in implementation of ERP technologies with 5+ years in Dynamics 365 F&O full project life cycle implementations.
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O base functionality, business process design and configuration, instance management, data migrations, role-based access control and integrations with third-party systems
- Experience in translating business processes to D365 configurations and process mapping
- Experience in discrete manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of emerging Microsoft technologies; Azure Cloud Platform, Power Bi, PowerApps, Flow, Azure Data Lake, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Experience in working closely with the PMO to develop project plans, create estimations for tasks as well as drive activities towards project success.
- Intellectual curiosity, especially around emerging enterprise technologies
- Willingness to support the project above and beyond the assigned activities, with responsibility and accountability, to drive results and expected outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Computer Science or a related discipline
- Microsoft Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations certifications
- A satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work may be considered
- Must be flexible to travel including planned colocation with the project team near business locations for up to 50% of the time every month during project implementation.
