Position Summary
- This position has the possibility of being done remotely but this option is based on the candidate's circumstances and being located in Erie, PA is preferred.
- The Hiring Manager will also consider candidates for Master Sourcing & Vendor Management Analyst (F14). Level of position offered will be based upon the depth and breadth of selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
Specific Role Responsibilities:
• Driving sourcing excellence with our IT Business partners through;
• Identify current state of IT infrastructure and application and modernizations strategies
• Craft contractual language guiding migration from legacy to digital solutions
• Partner with SVM Analyst(s) to shape approach and communication style to respective business partners
• Consistent engagements with Sr. IT leadership to understand and gain visibility into long term roadmaps
• Collaborate with IT Sourcing Organizations and peer networks to gain insight into market trends
• Identification of RFX opportunities within Erie's IT portfolios
• Ability to understand IT specific technical requirements and leverage that knowledge to shape sourcing strategies

Qualifications
Minimum Required Education Equivalents • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, MIS or related discipline and four years experience in purchasing and/or vendor management required; or • Associate's degree in business, finance, MIS or related discipline and six years experience in purchasing and/or vendor management required; or • High school diploma or GED and eight years experience in purchasing and/or vendor management required. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and project management software required. Strong knowledge of purchasing regulations and laws required. Familiarity and technical competence in purchasing management software or automated procurement systems required. Strong working knowledge of insurance industry preferred. Certified Purchasing Manager designation preferred. Knowledge of contracts relationship to financial/operation reporting preferred.
