Our regionally accredited University is comprised of the College of Nursing and the College of Health Professions. - HYBRID – If you reside within 50 miles of Adtalem offices in Chicago, IL, Addison, IL, Columbia, MD, Minneapolis, MN, and Miramar, FL this role is hybrid, requiring office presence three days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu), with the rest of the workweek spent working from home.
- REMOTE – If you live over 50 miles from Adtalem offices in Chicago, IL, Addison, IL, Columbia, MD, Minneapolis, MN, and Miramar, FL, this role is remote. However, occasional office visits may be required based on business needs, with advance communication for such requests.
Opportunity at a Glance
The primary purpose of this role is to establish clinical relationships in markets where new campus location are likely to open and to support new programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with health organizations in potential and current markets.
- Develop and manage a national account strategy.
- Use direct mail, telephone, email and face-to-face meetings to determine clinical site capacity for Chamberlain University students and potential for partnership.
- Initiate clinical affiliation agreements and other types of written support for applications for approval of program and new campuses.
- Researches, contacts, negotiates, and contracts with potential clinical agencies for student experiences
- Identifies potential strategic opportunities based on market intelligence.
- Mentor and train new Clinical Development Specialists and Clinical Coordination Specialists by creating, updating and maintaining training plans and materials.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on clinical relationship initatives
- Identify best practices, create client facing information, and establish on-going working relationships.
- Completes other duties as assigned.

- Complies with all policies and standards
- Bachelor's Degree Required and
- Master's Degree Preferred
- 5 + years business development experience. Required and
- Healthcare sales experience Preferred and
- Nursing Preferred and
- 1 years salesforce.com experience Preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills – must be able to work with various levels of management
- Team player willing to share and exchange ideas
- Action oriented – work autonomously with little direction.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $51,962.03 and $93,918.96. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
