We invite you to apply for our Senior Specialist Internal Education in Overland Park, KS! The Senior Specialist Internal Education is part of the Global Professional and Veterinary Affairs team (GPVA), who are responsible for our strategy with veterinary customers that will result in endorsement for and active recommendation of Hill’s therapeutic and wellness products. This role reports to the Director of Professional Education/Engagement and supports the execution of strategies that position Hill’s as the most valuable partner, providing scientific evidence-based advancements in the field of nutrition that promotes Hill’s product superiority, and demonstrating our commitment to transforming the lives of people and their pets.
What You Will Do:
Professional Education Training Content - Professional Learning Path (35%)
- Development and update of Global internal training courses, Global materials hosted on Hill’s Partner Academy and MindSpark onboarding pathways
- Development of communication assets to support Global training content in order to drive awareness across the organization
- Provide global oversight to newly launched professional content
- Accelerate professional vet affairs digital transformation to maximize reach among veterinarians and brand recognition.
- Support h3 innovation projects and future backward innovation including AI learning, telehealth and digital future spaces such as metaverse & AR educational tools
Hill’s Partner Academy (30%)
- Lead digital Global Veterinary training platform for Hill’s partners
- Work cross-functionally to provide strategic commercial training plans for key Hill’s stakeholders, driving regional knowledge about Colgate Principles.
- Support organization of GPVA calls w/ Mgr External Education
- Involvement with ongoing improvement of the LMS
- Provide global oversight to newly launched LMS
Internal Professional Development with Digital Transformation - (20%)
- Help develop strategy to grow internal professional competency that expedites digital transformation across all markets
- Upskill Global PVA teams and support digital transformation across this function
- Partner with Global Analytics team to identify training to assist self-service of reporting needs to drive global and local market professional needs
- Manage internal microsite, identify key metrics & data sets to share and highlight with local markets
- Create communication plans and build internal engagement to utilize tool
- Collaborate with GPVA teams to ensure site is organized and maintained
Professional Development and Mentorship - (15%)
- Implement strategic priorities for short & long-term plan for development programs
- Lead professional development initiative
- Lead internal professional mentorship program
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- DVM or equivalent
- 4+ years in general veterinary or academic practice, with special interest and knowledge in small animal nutrition
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous field sales experience or background in training or educatingsales teams &/or veterinary professionals
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $92,000.00 - $125,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
