Join GXO As the Senior Specialist, Workforce Administration, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on relevant HR processes, as well as performing core HR transactions involving new hire and contingent worker data management. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Create and manage new hire and contingent worker profiles
- Receive, execute, and review requests, including creating/editing contingent worker profiles, entering new hires, changing contingent worker reporting relationships, and promoting/transferring contingent workers
- Assist managers, HR, and recruiting with managing positions, requesting position edits in the system, and guiding them through the process
- Monitor and manage case resolution within performance and processing standards
- Serve as an escalation point for third-party vendors to support employment verification requests and requirements
- Collaborate with Finance and the Workforce Position Organization team to maintain profit centers, departments, locations, etc.
- Fulfill audit requests by providing HR and payroll data and transactions
- Participate in system testing and identifying system and user-interface issues
At a minimum, you'll need:
- 3 years of corporate office experience with 1 year in an HR administrator role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems (HRIS)
- Strong background in multiple areas of HR, including employee data, organizational structure, and transactions within an HRIS
- Expertise in HR administrative processes, including position and organization management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or a related field
- 4 years of corporate office experience with 2 years in an HR administrator role
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors
- Experience working in a shared services organization
- Self-motivated work style; able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
- Relationship management experience with a strong customer focus
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent process and query management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
