Senior Staff Accountant - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Our recruiting firm is partnering with a Health Insurance Provider in Coral Gables, to find them a Senior Staff Accountant. The organization is looking for someone with a mix of experience handling accounting and analysis.

The ideal salary for this position is between $85k-$100k + bonus. The company also offers an excellent benefits package.

Job Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle accounting functions including the hands-on preparation of monthly financials
• Handling fixed assets, prepaids, and accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations and meet deadlines
• Manage daily cash balances and reports
• Support month-end, year-end close and audit process
• Analyze financials to make recommendations to streamline processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Accounting experience
• Mixed knowledge between accounting and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot) required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business with an Accounting concentration is required
• Experience with ERP (Great Plains is a plus)
• Commute comfortably to office in Coral Gables
