Senior Staff Accountant - Redshift Recruiting LLC

Our well-established client is currently seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their growing team in the Capital Region. This position is at a company with excellent benefits upon hire.
Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant will include:Administer and manage daily activities of the accounting functions and provide assistance to the Finance Director and management
Assist in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities related to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll
Prepare bank reconciliation
Assist with the preparation of all financial reporting and statements
Assist the Director of Finance with supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, planning, and training employees
Other duties as assigned


Qualifications of the Senior Staff Accountant:Associates Degree required with applicable experience, Bachelor's Degree or higher in accounting or finance preferred
2+ years of relevant experience
CPA preferred
Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting
Excellent math skills
Experience with Quickbooks, Sage, or ADP preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a team-oriented/ collaborative environment
Self-motivated individual that possesses excellent time management and organizational skills
Detail oriented and deadline driven

Pay for this position is commensurate with education and experience, ranging roughly from $65,000 to $70,000 annually.
