Client Overview:
Our client is a long-standing health manufacturing company looking to add a Senior Staff Accountant to their team
This company is looking for an experienced professional that can work on a team just as effectively as they and work independently.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$35 – $38/hr
Position Overview:
Senior Staff Accountant applicants must have strong attention to detail, and analytical skills
Looking for 3 to 5 years of experience with month-end close, bank recs, account recs, etc
Ideal Senior Staff Accountant candidate should be hard working, and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Background in the manufacturing industry and experience working with the general ledger is a plus.
Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant:
Prepare financial analyses and reports
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Overseeing and coordinating with staff on Accounts Payable and Receivables
Responsible for updating/reviewing the forecast for possibly a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis
Working on budget and financials to prepare for a board and executives
Responsible for bank reconciliations and journal entries
Will assist with Month end close
Qualifications for the Senior Staff Accountant:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong excel skills
ERP systems
Leadership, communication, and financial analysis on an accounting team all a big plus
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or related is required
