Your Role at Pura:

We are seeking a Senior/Staff Backend Engineer to join our Systems Team, responsible for leading the implementation of our new Order Management System (OMS). As the primary engineer on this project, you will collaborate with diverse teams across the organization to design, develop, and integrate our OMS with various SaaS applications to enhance our end-to-end order processing capabilities. 

This role is ideal for a technically skilled engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and is eager to make a significant impact on our business operations.

You will help us inspire a belief in the power of fragrance to craft and elevate memorable moments for our Owners. This is your chance to make an impact in a high-growth company that’s redefining the way people experience scent.

Qualifications:

• 8 years in backend engineering with a focus on system integrations, ideally in e-commerce or SaaS environments.
• Proficiency in backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Go, Python).
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies, preferably AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience integrating various SaaS applications such as NetSuite, Shopify, etc.
• Experience with distributed systems and various database technologies.
• Familiarity with both synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns using APIs, message queues, etc.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical details to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
• IoT Experience (preferred)
• Experience with OMS platforms (preferred)
• GDPR compliance or similar experience (preferred)
