A friendly, outgoing personality and strong written and verbal interpersonal skills are essential.What you’ll be doing:Develop tooling to automate deployment and management of large-scale infrastructure environments, to automate monitoring and alertingWrite and review code, develop documentation and capacity plansReduce TOIL through automationWork with cross functional business partners and customersShare an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidentsOwn core infrastructure services (e.g
DNS/DHCP, LDAP, VNC) and thousands of Linux servers across multiple data centers and regionsDevelop self-service tooling and software for our usersWhat we need to see:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent experience8+ years of software and API development experience (Python, Go)Proven experience in UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentalsShell scripting and automation of repetitive administration tasksExperience using and designing configuration-as-code and infrastructure-as-code through software and toolingWays to stand out from the crowd:Thrives in a multi-tasking environment with constantly evolving prioritiesOutstanding interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management and colleaguesMentoring junior engineers and guiding them through development and implementationYou are a self starter and require minimal supervisionExperience with containers and other virtualization technologiesNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers
