The Senior STARS Improvement Professional develops, implements, and manages oversight of the company's Medicare/Medicaid Stars Program. Directs all Stars quality improvement programs and initiatives.
The Senior STARS Improvement Professional develops programs designed to increase the plan quality. Partners with leaders regarding implementation planning. Reviews and communicates results of programs.
+ Manages a Book of Business of small fee for service providers
+ Tracks trends in HEDIS and Quality measures for assigned providers/contracts
+ Educates internal and external stakeholders on Quality measures and improvement opportunities
+ Develops strategies/coordinates special projects to impact quality improvement for the region

Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 5 or more years of Healthcare experience
+ 3 or more years of Medicare and/or Medicaid experience
+ Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration
+ Registered Nurse
+ Understanding of CMS Stars, performance measures, HEDIS knowledge and experience a plus
+ Prior managed care experience
+ Understanding of metrics, trends and the ability to identify gaps in care
+ Proven organizational and prioritization skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments a plus
+ Background working in quality improvements
+ Coding experience

+ Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
+ Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
+ Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
+ Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$76,800 - $105,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
