Sr. Strategy Advisor
The Strategic Deals team is a talented group of deal-makers, former management consultants, creative thinkers, and strategic problems solvers. Our team is focused on the top deals within the company that meet the following three criteria: 1) over a $3 million dollar threshold, 2) of high complexity, 3) of strategic importance to our product roadmap. This team takes a consultative and solution-selling approach. Once the Strategic Deals Team is involved, our mandate is to help shape the deal and drive it to successful closure across the following activities:
+ Solution Selling & Effective Executive Storytelling - including executive presentation skills
+ Design thinking, for appropriate problem statement articulation
+ Bespoke Deal Design - custom solution design for complex requirements, in partnership with technical experts
+ Commercial structuring and creative pricing agreements
+ Helping our customers incorporate automation into their solutions
About the Role: Senior Strategy Advisor
The Senior Strategy Advisor is an experienced player on A-teams, who will help build lasting relationships with our customers to align their strategic focus with our IRM solution suite, enabling both the customers and IRM’s growth. This role will operate in a collaborative global matrix structure spanning across direct and indirect internal teams. Our goal is to ensure we are delivering an optimal sales experience across all functions including the Account Team, Digital Operations, Professional Services, and Engineering.
What you’ll do
This position is responsible for the successful design and execution of analyses in support of strategic deals and solution development servicing Iron Mountain’s most critical strategic accounts. Analyses will be both qualitative and quantitative as well as strategic in nature.
Responsibilities:
+ In partnership with business leaders, identify and accelerate the strategy, project management, and operationalization of key strategic accounts and initiatives across Iron Mountain
+ Effectively build and maintain consensus, define success, ruthlessly prioritize, day to day manage and work cross functionally across several teams and functions to deliver outcomes
+ Effective story-telling via, qualitative/quantitative research and interpreting and summarizing / presenting results and implications
+ Effectively running strategic ideation workshops with customers to identify pain points and develop appropriate solutions.
+ Providing intellectual leadership through business analyses to develop concrete solutions or recommendations or identifying gaps and inefficiencies
+ Developing strong relationships with Iron Mountain’s leaders, collaborating with them effectively and becoming a trusted thought partner on critical decisions / areas of their function
+ Bring relevant subject matter expertise

+ Relevant experience leading both strategy and implementation of initiatives
+ Exceptional analytical problem solving skills demonstrated by ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative research to form hypotheses and pressure-test findings

+ Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - ability to explain your findings and analysis to a non-technical audience
+ Intellectually curious and enjoys learning; the ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across a matrixed organization and lead by influence

Reasonably expected salary range: $134,500.00 - $179,300.00
