Senior Structural Engineer (Hybrid) - Trycewell Partners Inc.

Our client is one of the largest Civil Construction Consulting firms in North America. Their work is synonymous with some of the most complex, large scale commercial projects across the US. We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer (Hybrid) to work out of Houston area. This is a hybrid role, with some days in office-depending on managerial discretion and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis, design, and details for all types of buildings and materials using a variety of building codes
• · Coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other design professionals including Architects and other Engineering disciplines
• Resolve project issues and problems
• Provide technical guidance to co-workers
• Contribute to a team environment by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner
• Reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance
• Develops new techniques and/or improved processes for design projects
• Provides technical advice on safe designs and construction
• Reviews and approves scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments
  

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in relevant commercial building design engineering experience
• Demonstrated career growth that includes project management experience
• Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural
• Must be a licensed P.E. in the state of Texas, preference given to candidates with a Graduates Degree
• Must possess experience designing commercial building structures
• Candidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skill, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented
