Your Role as a Senior Structural Engineer
You’ll lead the charge in designing, testing, and refining products that make a real impact on homes and contractors across the country. As part of our Product Strategy Team, you’ll be at the forefront of product development, collaborating with a passionate and talented group of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Design & Innovation: Drive the creation and testing of new products, as well as improvements to existing ones. You’ll produce technical documentation, drawings, and product details that support our mission to be market leaders.
- Testing & Evaluation: Develop and implement testing protocols that rigorously evaluate product performance, ensuring we’re always pushing the boundaries of quality and reliability.
- Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to both internal teams and customers, offering solutions that highlight the value and applications of our product lines. You’ll work closely with architects, design engineers, and contractors to deliver engineered solutions.
- Asset Development: Collaborate with the engineering team to create case studies, technical documents, drawings, and other materials that showcase the impact of our products. You'll also assist in developing training materials and content for our website and videos.
Education & Experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in steel and concrete design
- In-depth knowledge of residential and commercial building construction
- Experience with manufacturing processes is a plus
- Proficient in modeling software (AutoCAD, Inventor)
- Strong project management and communication skills—working well within a team and with clients is essential
- Ability to solve problems and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
