E-MC Electrical began offering commercial electric and energy services to the businesses of Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas, and the surrounding areas in 1977, when Gerald McDonald first opened his electrical contracting business. Gerald McDonald opened this company to fulfill his dream of providing unparalleled commercial electrical services.
- Lead field operations for electrical projects, including coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment to achieve project goals.
- Monitor project progress, schedule adherence, and budgetary performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality assessments, and subcontractor coordination to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Manage an install team of 10-15 people onsite with ability to lead by example.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to promote teamwork and project success.
- Minimum of 10 of experience in commercial electrical construction, with at least 5 in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Master Electrician license certification preferred
- Ability to grab the tools and hands dirty when needed.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical equipment and systems, including VFD motors,, transformers, PLCs, control panels, pipe bending, and instrumentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects from start to finish.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Project Site, ViewPoint, or Primavera P6.
- OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.

- Physical ability to: lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
