We are seeking a mission-driven professional with a Secret Clearance, Security + Certificate and 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator for the federal government to become our next Sr. Systems Administrator in Rome, NY.
As Systems Administrator, Senior you will:
- Install, administer, and troubleshoot network security solutions.
- Update software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource.

A week in the life of a Systems Administrator, Senior:
- Perform vulnerability and penetration tests, identify and defend against threats, and develop disaster recovery plans.
- Configure security systems, analyze security requirements, and recommend improvements.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior.
- Create network policies and authorization roles and defend against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
- Configure and support security tools, such as firewalls and anti-virus software.
- Secret security clearance required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Security Administrator
- High School Diploma Required. Associates Degree Preferred
- Security+ certification or equivalent required
