Cedarhurst, a regional healthcare provider and true friend of older adults, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Senior Systems Administrator in our home office in Clayton, MO.
As the Senior Systems Administrator, you will have to opportunity to connect with, and positively impact the lives of, our residents daily. Systems administrators are responsible for maintaining infrastructure and system efficiency. You will also seek to increase awareness of Cedarhurst Senior Living and our mission to create communities where each person feels loved, valued, supported, and able to live life to the fullest.
As Senior Systems Administrator, you will impact the lives of our residents by –
- Provide technical support of escalated tickets.
- Maintain a high degree of customer service.
- Management of AD and Exchange accounts.
- Equipment deployments.
- Infrastructure project assistance.
- Take ownership of end user problems and be proactive in finding resolutions.
- Assist in resolving hardware/software issues for end users and server room equipment, as required.
- Travel to locations, as required. On the average 25% travel is required, can increase or decrease depended on company needs.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems, including troubleshooting Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work independently.
- Effective analytic skills to reason and solve problems.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a progressive, expanding environment.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Team-oriented and ability to effectively work within a collaborative environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
To become the IT Systems Administrator, you will need –
- Certifications: A+ and Network+ or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Apple DEP and Mobile Device Management services.
- Understanding of Managed Switches, Firewalls, and VPN a plus.
- Prior experience maintaining Microsoft SQL Server
- Solid history of use with Windows OS primarily 7 and 10.
- Ability to troubleshoot system software and hardware issues.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Azure and ESXI
