WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Sr. Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Zero Trust Implementation by:
- Providing Sr. Systems Engineering and Technical Support to the Zero Trust Implementation.
- Working with existing ICAM capability teams to define requirements, develop architecture, and design documentation.
- Performing technology assessments and supporting risk mitigation assessments.
- Providing hands-on support for managing configurations, assisting with installation troubleshooting, and cloud technologies.
- Offering technical expertise in industry, federal, and DoD standards/policies.
- Creating and maintaining ICAM Zero Trust documentation, including release notes, installation and user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and plans in accordance with Zero Trust mandates.
- Understanding and working with technologies like REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, Nifi, Single Sign-On (OAuth and SAML).
- Researching and analyzing cloud security environments.
- Assisting with Risk Management Framework and DoD accreditation packages and documentation.
- Identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services.
- Defining implementation processes and outlining hardware and software considerations.
- Assisting software developers with tracking and defining requirements, sprint planning/scheduling, design input/changes, and testing support.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline and 4 to 10 years of experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Proven experience in systems engineering and technical support for Zero Trust Implementation.
- Experience working with ICAM capability teams to define requirements and develop architecture.
- Hands-on experience in managing configurations, installation troubleshooting, and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge and expertise in industry, federal, and DoD standards/policies.
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ICAM Zero Trust.
- Proficiency with technologies such as REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, Nifi, Single Sign-On (OAuth and SAML).
- Experience in researching and analyzing cloud security environments.
- Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework and DoD accreditation processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services.
- Ability to assist software developers with requirements tracking, sprint planning, design input, and testing.
