The selected candidate will report to the Chinook Airworthiness and Certification team.Boeing Vertical Lift products support the vital missions of defense forces around the world and provide protection and relief in a constantly changing geopolitical environment

#TheFutureIsBuiltHerePosition Responsibilities:This position supports development and decomposition of customer requirements into contractual design and certification requirements
Additional activity will include developing the verification plans, which will require leading technical integration with our Integrated Product teams (IPTs)
In this role engineers will also be supporting the verification execution for our vertical lift platforms
This will include artifact discovery, verification of evidence against design/airworthiness requirements and verification for collaborative customer reviews
Individuals will need to interface with design teams to ensure compliance to baseline system architecture
Individuals will support integration with multiple engineering disciplines within the various design IPTs and will require an ability to develop a working knowledge of multiple engineering commodities
Opportunities will be available to expose individuals to various aspects of the systems engineering process throughout the product lifecycle, beginning with concept operations, through our preliminary and critical design phases, through production and into fleet support
As a Senior Systems Engineer, the position will require individuals to lead certification strategies for both new programs and existing programs for initial airworthiness and continued airworthiness
Strong interpersonal communication skills.This position is hybrid
