THE ROLE:

• Assist customers with evaluations, benchmarks, and proof-of-concepts for AI/ML 
• and analytics solutions.
• Work closely with VAST R&D Engineering to help define product requirements and 
• usability, including the creation of product specification documents focused on 
• analytics and AI/ML use cases.
• Participate in the creation of sales strategy and tactics, taking ownership of 
• technical responsibilities within customer accounts, particularly around data 
• analytics and machine learning workflows.
• Demonstrate technical leadership and subject matter expertise on data analytics 
• platforms, distributed data processing frameworks, AI/ML solutions, and storage 
• architectures.
• Creation of architecture “blueprints” for repeatable solutions in AI/ML and analytics 
• that the Sales team will deliver to the customer community.
• Help with the development of a dispersed group of system and field engineers, with 
• a focus on AI/ML and data analytics expertise.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and development of the Sales and Sales Engineering 
• team, particularly in the areas of data analytics and AI/ML.
• Consult on forming, building, and managing a Support organization tailored to 
• analytics and AI/ML solutions.
• Develop solutions and provide support for data pipelines, machine learning 
• workflows, and analytics processes to enable efficient data processing and real-time
• analysis for AI and business intelligence applications.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage to large 
• IT organizations
• Positive energy, optimism and vision.
• Ability to perform in an unstructured environment.
• Understanding of classic unstructured data applications and next-
• generation analytics and web frameworks.
• Preparation and/or delivery of technical product and architecture 
• presentations to customers and trainees.
• Knowledge of virtualization, high-performance networking and enterprise 
• security.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
