Responsibilities:- Serve as program advisory for a high-visibility program.
- Supports and advises government Program Managers through the development of next generation weapon systems.
- Assists program managers in assessing and drafting technical requirements and documentation.
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to verify program needs identified to meet program goals.
- Helps the government assess the technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timely delivery of program deliverables to support program reviews.
- Translates complex ideas and data into simple, actionable recommendations or easily differentiated courses of action.
- Supports management and execution of programs consisting of multiple projects – ensures overall program is properly coordinated and efficiently accomplished.
- Communicates clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy with the potential to brief government senior leadership.
- Develops a Monthly Status Report on all efforts including updates on major activities, challenges, opportunities, and deliverables.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Ten (10) years of proven Systems Engineering experience supporting the DoD.
- Five (5) years of proven experience in DoD program management, to include program development and transition.
- Knowledge of weapon system development, integration, manufacturing, and transition.
- Experience with drafting and assessing technical requirements and documents.
- Experience conducting risk management, technology maturation, and technical performance analysis.
- Experience validating and implementing defense contractor deliverables.
- Experience integrating complex data sets with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Fifteen (15) years of proven Systems Engineering experience supporting the DoD.
- Ten (10) years of proven experience in DoD program management, to include program development and transition.
- Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience operating in and evaluating DE environments.
- Experience with DoD munition acquisition programs.
