SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER PRINCIPAL - DPED-CI SYSTEM MANAGER
ROLE
Kaimetrix is hiring a highly experienced and skilled Senior Systems Engineer Principal to serve as the DPED-CI System Manager at Fort Eisenhower, GA. This role requires a professional with a strong background in systems engineering and management, and who holds the necessary certifications and security clearances. The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree, 9-13 years of relevant experience, and a current TS/SCI with CI Poly.
We will support INSCOM's mission by delivering products and services that enhance readiness and sustain Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities. Key support activities include Program/Project Management, Network Engineering, Data Visualization, Cloud Engineering, System/Program Administration, Operations Research/Systems Analysis, Data Platform Analysis, System Evaluation, Test/Data Engineering, Full Stack/System/DevOps Engineering, System Engineering, and Distributed Processing, and Exploitation and Dissemination - Converged Infrastructure (DPED-CI).

RESPONSIBILITIES
System Management:
- Oversee the DPED-CI system operations, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement, maintain, and update system processes in alignment with organizational policies and standards.
- Manage system configurations and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
Project Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers and IT professionals.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement projects.
- Ensure that project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Security and Compliance:
- Maintain the highest level of system security and compliance with IAT III standards.
- Ensure systems are protected against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide expert guidance on system architecture, design, and integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and updates.
- Prepare and present reports on system performance, security, and project status to senior management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 9-13 years of experience in systems engineering or a related disciplin
- IAT III certification.
- Security certification.
- Role-specific Compute Environment certification (e.g., Network, Linux, Cloud Essentials, etc.).
EDUCATION
- BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
- Fort Eisenhower, GA
- U.S. citizenship is required since this role supports the U.S. Federal government
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Current DoD TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance
- No travel required
- 40 hours per week
- 8 hours per day
- Employment Classification Eligibility — W2
- Not eligible for relocation benefits
