Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.Preferred qualifications:PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Experience with storage systems, memory systems, network systems, novel I/O systems, or platform architectures including persistent memory (NVRAM), accelerators, and other emerging technologies.Experience with intersection of Machine Learning (ML) and computer systems (e.g., ML for systems or systems for ML).Author/Co-author of well-known and respected papers (e.g., based on impact or citations) in the top venues in the systems field (e.g., SOSP, OSDI, ISCA, MICRO, ASPLOS, EUROSYS, PLDI, SIGCOMM, NSDI, etc.)

In this role, you will focus on inventing, incubating, and infusing new concepts, designs, and technologies into Google’s applications, systems, and data centers
You will collaborate with engineering and product teams, and with external research communities working on the most pressing systems-research problems.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry
