About the Job
Vaco Boston has partnered with a reputable law firm in Boston that is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. This individual will focus on induvial and fiduciary taxes.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review individual, trusts, private foundation, and gift tax returns.
• Assist with research on complex tax issues related to estates, gifts, and trusts
• Assist clients with fiduciary income tax planning
• Work closely with the Tax Director.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, JD or MST preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fiduciary tax preparation and planning
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations pertaining to fiduciary taxation

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;
other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
