We are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join a reputable company in Richmond, VA
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Analyze financial data and tax implications to develop tax planning strategies that minimize tax liabilities while maximizing financial outcomes for clients.
Research and interpret tax laws, regulations, and rulings to ensure compliance and provide guidance to clients and colleagues.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert tax advice and recommendations tailored to their specific financial situations and objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams, including accounting and finance professionals, to coordinate tax-related activities and ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Stay current on changes to tax laws and regulations, industry trends, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and enhance service offerings.
Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on individual and corporate taxation.
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local tax codes.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and financial accounting systems.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic tax planning recommendations.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
