1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or Master's degree in Taxation is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax analysis, preferably in the energy sector.
3. Proficiency in tax software and other financial systems.
4. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
5. Excellent research skills, with the ability to interpret and apply tax laws to the business context.
6. Proven experience in tax reconciliation and review.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
10. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
