Senior Tax Manager – Affordable Housing
A boutique public accounting firm located in the Bay Area is looking to bring on a Senior Tax Manager to their growing team. We are seeking candidates who have strong experience with low-income housing tax credits (LHTC). As the Tax Senior Manager, you will manage entry level, senior, and supervisor level staff on various tax engagements. This role will pay up to $220,000 on a base (DOE) and offer a fully remote work schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the review of complex tax returns prepared by team members
- Provide formal and informal performance feedback to staff
- Serve as mentor to entry level staff
- Provide superior client service
- Handle client consultation son planning opportunities and changes in tax law
- Manage the risk financial performance of engagements
- BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance with a MS in Taxation
- CPA Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising staff and working within public accounting
- Must have Low-Income Housing Tax Credits experience
- Ability to work remotely
