Senior Tax Manager - Relevante

Salary: $ 145,000.00

We have partnered with a large CPA and Advisory firm in Akron, OH area to provide them with a SeniorTax Manager. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized must haves for the Senior Tax Manager:

#1. Minimum of 5 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm REQUIRED.

#2. CPA required for Manager level (Supervisor role does not require CPA)

#3. Strong team management skills - the ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams of people.

#4. Experience in one or more specialized areas/industries

#5. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, Master's degree preferred

#6. Strong corporate tax and/or high net worth individual background and technical skills

Requirements of the Senior Tax Manager:

• A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in tax within a public accounting setting is a must.
• CPA certification is essential for the Manager level (not necessary for the Supervisor role).
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, manage, and coach team members effectively.
• A track record of being a professional role model, recognized for both technical knowledge and professional reputation.
• Expertise in one or more specialized industries is a plus.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; preference is given to candidates with a master's degree.
• A well-established or growing industry reputation, along with a robust professional network and key connections.
• Strong technical expertise in corporate taxation and/or high-net-worth individual tax matters.

Other Key Requirements:

• Teleflex schedule: They can choose to work remote, hybrid, or in office.
• The candidate would be located in Akron/Cleveland however we are open to all of Ohio (not looking for candidates outside of OH at this time)
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
