We have been engaged by a large, global industrial client in the Southeast US for a search for an experienced Senior Tax Manager. The employer is an leader in its sector and renowned for a family culture that results in a highly tenured team, great morale, and track record of internal promotions. The company offers a competitive compensation package (including 401k match, bonus, equity, and relocation assistance) and excellent remote flexibility.
This role does require that someone live in the Southeast US and move to within drivable distance from their office.
The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for ASC 740 provision and reporting requirements, domestic and international taxes, tax research, and tax defense. The right candidate will have:
- CPA designation (required)
- 9-12+ years of relevant experience
- Focused experience managing tax provision function
- Bachelor's in Accounting; Master's in Taxation preferred
- The ability to relocate near their corporate headquarters in the southeast US.
- Experience with various tax software systems
- Multi-national tax experience
- Experience working with large companies or clients
- Big 4 or similar and/or corporate tax experience
- A proven track record of staying with an employer for 9+ years
