The Senior Technical Product Engineer is responsible for managing end to end technical design, development, production, enhancements, and support of Products within Global Sales IT. The candidate will have expertise in implementing and developing Sales benefits and self-service IT solutions.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Product Owners / Product Manages. Translate visions into meaningful Epics, features and technical stories so that the scrum team can incrementally deliver. Provides quantitative expertise (data analysis, statistics, forecasting, simulation, and optimization). Also take charge of planning and creating the necessary technical stories for the team, to keep the technical debts balanced.
- Engage directly and daily with delivery teams to execute the project.
- Act as the bridge between the Business team (product owner and manager) and the developers when there is a gap of knowledge on technology or domain requirements.
- Assist with managing team delivery commitments and helping to remove enterprise and escalated impediments.
- Ensure product acceptance and readiness at key phases of the delivery cycle
- Develop communication materials and lead communication efforts around the product, priorities and future roadmaps
- Lead design sessions with the product team
- Assist with design, development and implementation of Sales initiatives
- Assist with designing the APIs for model consumption and model execution strategy and to enable efficient integration with client applications.
- Ensure that the Delta methodology, standards and procedures are adopted and implemented.
- Ensure that the technical solutions meet the customers' business goals and that customer satisfaction with the project and conclusion is high.
- Act as a Point of contact for technical issues, creating documentation, monitoring service levels.
- Consult within project team and other Delta teams, with outside vendors or consultants to ensure project or product integrity.
- Make things happen without frequent management direction and know when to communicate status or escalate issues to their manager, teammates or stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team-mates to define and implement detailed measurement data, error logging/tracking for all products within our domain.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- With 5 years + experience as a technical product analyst and has worked closely with product owners on B2B, or Sales systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability to understand and set direction for complex technology integration
- Extensive experience defining agile requirements (Epics/stories), including functional and technical in a product/service organization.
- Understanding and usage of agile metrics (velocity, burn downs) to help the team be more productive.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to partner with business stakeholders to prioritize backlog as necessary.
- Strong teamwork skills
- Knowledge of deploying and managing Cloud infrastructures, such as OpenShift, Azure, AWS or Salesforce Platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience developing, testing and deploying APIs.
- Experience building applications based on Microservices Architecture
- Experience with Agility or Jira, and GIT
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- Self-learner with the ability to pick up new technologies and provide tangible results.
- Ability to understand Airline Corporate travel and distribution strategies, B2B Partnership drivers, and TMC (Travel Mgmt Companies) business drivers, adapt and innovate IT solutions that deliver desired business outcomes
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

- The Senior Technical Product Engineer position prefers a technical BS/MS degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to act as a scrum master and/or run the scrum ceremonies with the guidance from our Agile Coaching team.
