Senior Tech Specialist needed for one of the nation's largest investment managers
This Cybersecurity specialist will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing potential threats, configuring security tools to identify, detect, and contain security vulnerabilities and events, developing procedures for handling threats, and training and mentoring staff on incident handling, threat hunting, and investigative techniques.
The Senior Tech Specialist works a hybrid schedule Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5 PM, reporting to the office in Warrendale, PA, as scheduled
This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, finance, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience in information technology with at least 5 years of experience concentrating in information security.
Proficiency in the following technologies: SIEM, Endpoint Security, URL Filtering, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, O365/ Azure Security tools, CASB, PAM, and Vulnerability Management.
Skilled in identifying, detecting, and containing security events through in-depth investigation.
Ability to use external threat intelligence to detect and prevent security incidents.
Mastery of standard security practices administering and analyzing Microsoft and Unix/Linux operating systems.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
Highly motivated and able to work effectively individually and as a member of a team.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred.
Experience with LogRhythm, ExtraHop, Palo Alto, Qualys +CrowdStrike, SailPoint, Delinea, Secret Server, Prisma, NetScaler, and Mimecast.
