• *The Opportunity:As a Test Engineer III, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software products through rigorous independent verification and validation (IV&V) and the development of automated testing processes
You will utilize your skills to test and maintain robust software solutions, contributing to the innovation and enhancement of our development practices
Your role will be central to delivering high-quality software that meets our clients' needs and expectations.Responsibilities:Conducting independent verification and validation (IV&V) software testing to ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability.Developing and implementing automated software tests to streamline and enhance the testing process.Applying Agile Scrum methodologies and to guide and mentor the development team in best practices.Conducting research, design, and development of computer and network software, as well as specialized utility programs.Maintaining and enhancing database applications within various software solutions.Utilizing modern software development methodologies such as Agile, DEVOPS, and DEVSECOPS to ensure efficient project delivery.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.Providing guidance and training in Agile Scrum methodologies to promote continuous improvement and best practices within the team.Qualifications:Required: Active Secret clearanceTen (10) years of professional experience with Masters OR fourteen (14) years with Bachelor’s degree in the research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs, including database maintenance within an application area.An Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification (or the ability to obtain immediately) is required for this position.Notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g
