Responsibilities include:
- Designing plans for geometrics of roadways and intersections
- Technical reports
- Closed and open drainage systems
- Multimodal Facilities
- Engineering calculations
- Pavement markings and signage
Additional responsibilities for a Senior Transportation Engineer:
- Experience with highway design and/or traffic.
- Business development
- Project management and client relations
- Technical analysis and design
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Accepting applications from entry level to tenured professionals
- PE or EIT
- Knowledge of DOT standards and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver’s license
