We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Trust and Estate Litigation Attorney to join our renowned team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling complex trust and estate litigation matters, including probate and trial proceedings. This role requires a deep understanding of trust and estate laws, excellent litigation skills, and the ability to provide top-notch legal advice to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of trust and estate litigation matters, including but not limited to, disputes involving wills, trusts, estates, guardianships, and conservatorships.
- Represent clients in court and in all phases of litigation, from initiation to trial.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their rights and obligations.
- Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and objectives, and develop effective legal strategies to achieve them.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure the timely and successful resolution of cases.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in trust and estate law, and participate in continuing legal education programs.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in trust and estate litigation, including probate and trial proceedings.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Demonstrated expertise in trust and estate laws.
- Excellent litigation skills, with a proven track record of success in court.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft and review complex legal documents.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and promoting client satisfaction.
- Willingness to participate in community outreach and pro bono activities.
