Perch Energy has an immediate opening for a Senior UI Developer reporting to the SVP, Technology. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and implement responsive website interfaces and provide expert guidance on UI best practices and ensure timely resolution of bugs and outages. The ideal candidate has proven success in building UI's for B2C customers using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. This is a fully remote with the option to work in our Boston office. This is also a temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and the creative team to understand business requirements and desired front-end functionality
- Perform analysis, design, coding, and unit testing of the front-end of a multi-tiered website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and React technologies
- Provide expert guidance on website user-interface best practices and options to the team
- Advocate for and implement technical solutions, drive projects forward, and represent the team in high-level meetings to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Participate in project scoping, analyze technical and business value, and ensure successful execution of development initiatives
- Foster team growth by promoting a culture of excellence, supporting personal development, and aligning team contributions with organizational goals
- Independently conduct root cause analysis to identify and address bugs and outages, ensuring swift resolution and minimizing impact
