We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent General Manager - HVAC and Plumbing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the operations and ensuring the efficiency of our HVAC and Plumbing department. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to take the helm of a well-established, reputable company and drive it towards new heights of success.
Responsibilities:
As the Permanent General Manager - HVAC and Plumbing, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:
1. Overseeing all HVAC and plumbing operations and managing the department's personnel.
2. Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency throughout the department.
3. Ensuring all operations comply with state and federal regulations.
4. Managing customer relations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of services.
6. Identifying potential areas of improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
7. Creating and managing budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently.
8. Training and mentoring staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
9. Leading and managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
10. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all staff members, implementing health and safety protocols as necessary.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent General Manager - HVAC and Plumbing position will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a General Manager in the HVAC and Plumbing industry.
2. Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
3. Extensive knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
4. Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing effective solutions.
6. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
7. Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
9. A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Certifications in HVAC and Plumbing would be an added advantage.
