The Experience Strategy and Design organization at CDK is focused on the quality of the interactions people have with our technology and is looking for professionals that employ the principles and techniques of User Centered Design to join us. UX @ CDK follows a multi-disciplinary approach that focuses on all the users' emotions, beliefs, preferences, perceptions, and behaviors through an iterative research and design process.
The Senior UX Designer is responsible for the end-to-end experience of a product, a project, or a feature. They will partner and collaborate with cross-functional product teams internationally, to create joyful user experiences for the challenges faced by the Automotive industry.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conducts advanced UX design activities and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams
- Designs and develops comprehensive design solutions to enhance user experience
- Collaborates closely with team members and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design efforts
- Works towards achieving set design goals and objectives, providing high-quality solutions
- Analyzes design needs and presents solutions that inform product development and strategy
- Manages multiple design projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of solutions
- Shares knowledge and expertise with team members to support their professional development
- Applies industry best practices and innovative approaches in conducting design work
- Advocates for user-centered design in design and product development activities
- Conducts design activities ethically and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards
- Reports on design findings and project progress to the design team and stakeholders
- Works to align design efforts with business objectives and product strategy
- Applies and advocates for innovative design methodologies and best practices
