We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Business Planning and Analysis to join our Asset Servicing Sales Practice Operations. This role is located in Boston, MA – Hybrid.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Business Planning and Analysis for AS Sales Practice Team
- Support the Sales Practice Team in day-to-day business operations and management, coordinating strategic transformation efforts, analytical innovation (including but not limited to AI), and business process re-engineering.
- Pricing – reporting, analysis, key drivers, management of KPIs/OKRs. Support transformation and value creation with analytical innovations to improve Pricing function impact on commercial competitiveness.
- Enablement – reporting, analysis, key drivers, management of KPIs/OKRs. Support re-engineering initiatives, including optimal use of AI, employment of risk-based decision making, and deployment of world class sales support paradigms.
- Technical Demonstrations - reporting, analysis, key drivers, management of KPIs/OKRs. Support innovation, expansion of viable technical portfolio, and planning/support optimization.
- Deal Management - reporting, analysis, key drivers, management of KPIs/OKRs. Support cross-programmatic sales lifecycle design initiatives.
- Monthly Business Review Coordination – Strategic planning, project management, and execution assurance, including establishment of goals, objectives, initiatives, and key metrics.
- Partner with key AS business leaders to develop and articulate strategic initiatives, leveraging disciplines across the Sales Practice Team, including:
- Collaboration within the team and broader BNY relationships to understand AS business, how to obtain data and subject knowledge needed to support advanced analytics and analytics-informed decisions & transformation;
- Defining the scope of strategic initiatives;
- Owning and driving creation of deliverables;
- Developing and incorporating insights from qualitative and quantitative analysis;
- Project management for strategic projects;
- Define scope, timeline, key milestones for project work
- Set meetings, define agendas
- Develop insights from thoughtful, thorough data analysis;
- Partner with business SMEs and competitor and market intelligence teams to collect quantitative and qualitative inputs
- Synthesize information and communicate insights and “so what’s” back to business leaders and AS Strategy head
- Connecting the dots to deliver a “one AS” and “one BNY” strategy.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 7+ years of total work experience preferred.
- Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proficiency with data science tools, including Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, Python all highly valued.
- Very strong communications skills, including listening, writing, speaking, and strategic framing.
- Asset Servicing industry knowledge and experience. Strategy, finance, or relevant consulting experienced highly valued.
- Tireless commitment to team success.
- Strong work ethic and desire to drive sound, data-driven results and recommendations.
