Senior Vice President or Director – Corporate Sustainability (California, Washington D.C., Bost[...] - Browning Environmental

Location: California, Washington, DC, Boston (US) or London (UK)

We are seeking a Director out of either our London office or a Senior Vice President out of our California, Washington D.C. or Boston office to oversee Browning’s corporate sustainability function.

Responsibilities and Scope

• Develop Browning’s corporate sustainability services globally aligning with agency mission
• Marketing and business development – acting as an ambassador for the agency promoting our corporate sustainability services; leading agency proposals, and negotiations
• Oversee retained or project-based assignments – including sustainability strategy, disclosure and impact reporting, branding and messaging, and all types of external and internal communications
• Managing delivery of work from Browning teams to the highest quality
• Coordinating with senior representatives of clients day-to-day and processing their changing needs
• Hiring and developing talent
• Contributing to agency knowledge management systems

Minimum Qualifications

• An inspiring leader, recognized for industry leadership on corporate sustainability strategy and practice
• 10+ years’ experience and technical knowledge of corporate sustainability strategy, reporting, and corporate or internal communications
• In-depth experience of environmental sustainability issues including on climate action, circular economy, and nature restoration
• 3+ years’ experience of consultancy experience
• Strong organizational and project management skills essential
• Great references
